Work Experience
A track record of hands-on experience across industries, backed by real operational exposure and ISO expertise.
1996-2000
Led the implementation of the Total Airport Management System (TAMS) for KLIA, representing the Malaysian Government under KLIA Berhad in a high-impact national project.
Oversaw multi-stakeholder coordination, system integration, and project execution within a complex airport environment — ensuring readiness for one of Malaysia’s most important international gateways.
2000 – 2008
Progressed from ICT Helpdesk & Customer Services Manager to Quality Assurance Manager within Malaysia Airports Technologies, a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Berhad.
Pioneered the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMS) during its early adoption phase (2005), and served as Management Representative for ISO 9001 (QMS) and OHSAS 18001 (OH&S), driving compliance and system integration across operations.
Led the establishment, auditing, and continuous improvement of multiple management systems, while being certified as a Lead Auditor for ISMS and ISO-based systems, ensuring alignment with international standards within a complex airport technology environment.
Played a key role in strengthening organizational processes, improving service delivery, and embedding a culture of quality, security, and operational excellence.
Engaged as a subcontracted auditor with SIRIM QAS, supporting ISO audit activities across various organizations.
This experience provided first-hand exposure to certification body expectations, audit processes, and compliance evaluation — enabling a deeper understanding of what auditors truly require for successful certification.
